White Paper: “Categorization of Manufacturing Components in Cellular Agriculture: A Tripartite Perspective for Safety Assessment”

White Paper: “Categorization of Manufacturing Components in Cellular Agriculture: A Tripartite Perspective for Safety Assessment”

About the Project:

This white paper will provide a categorization of components according to utility, physiochemical properties, prior regulatory status in foods, safe and permissible levels, as well as hazards and toxicology. The categorization will be organized using existing, new, and proprietary information of the components, with the goal to generate a secured (restricted access) reference bank or repository for risk assessment purposes.

Leadership:

Stephane Vidry, PhD – Global Executive Director, ILSI, USA

Outcome:

The outcome of this first activity is a white paper. Given that two jurisdictions (USA and Canada) are involved in this white paper discussion, this exercise would be pertinent to develop strategic harmonization of a framework for assessing cellular agriculture products.
